After running a VIP-only event at RIZE 7, RIZE 8 returns in full force with a much bigger scale show for the general public on September 3rd.  ‘RIZE 8 - Domination’ will feature some of the best local and international professional MMA fighters, plus the introduction of a more formal, ‘B-Class’ category of amateur matches!


We are bringing in an army of opponents from Japan to face off with our local and interstate MMA fighters.  Come and see Australia take on Japan in a show full of top MMA performances.

This event will also see the beginning of contests for RIZE Amateur Titles, so the night promises to be STACKED with really exciting MMA action!

Doors will open from 5:30pm and the fights will start at 6pm.

RIZE MMA

For any of you who haven't already heard, our very first VIP event is scheduled for next Saturday 14th May 2011.

RIZE 7 will be held at the brand new HaMMA Arena at Bowen Hills, a venue designed specifically to house Mixed Martial Arts events, and the fights will again take place in our purpose-built circular MMA cage.

This exclusive event will be table seating only, so you can enjoy all of the action in supreme comfort at one of our VIP tables. The fight card includes some terrific match ups, including an Interim Welterweight Title fight, and a number one contender match in the Lightweight division. Get ready for an explosive night of fights at RIZE 6 Defiance!

Come and see who will become the next RIZE Welterweight Champion as Ian "The Hitman" Bone and Tony "The Jedi" Rossini battle it out in our very own custom-built RIZE cage.

Also lined up are Lenny Kent from the Gold Coast and Cameron Murcutt from Perth for a shot at the RIZE Middleweight Title. All this preceded by a full card of some of the best MMA fighters from around Australia... including two female fights.
